The above pictures were taken Thursday morning. Conditions were excellent on all trails except parts of Otter and Rainbow that the wind always affects. Today, Friday, it has been cloudy and at least 10 cms of new snow has fallen. If you believe Environment Canada the forecast is for warm temperatures next week that may cause the conditions to deteriorate. As usual the weather network predicts less warmth and just +1C on Monday and Tuesday. This weekend will continue to be excellent so we should take advantage of it in case Environment Canada is right. The Weathernetwork predicted this cold week best more than a week ago.
