The weather can be very different between the east and west ends of the Crowsnest Pass community. Today we could see it was bright and likely sunny towards Bellevue but definitely snowing to the west. “Flurries near the BC border” Environment Canada often forecasts and sometimes they are right. The temperature was just below freezing for Most of our ski on Camp, Mill, Cutline, Bullmoose and Whitetail. Light snow fell most of the time and, despite the wind that we’ve had in town, the track setting was still visible on most of the trails which are sheltered. Again good conditions once you are up the first hill. Yesterday, I found that the wind has scoured part of Rainbow near the Lake. Photo taken while we had some hot chocolate on the bench near the upper shelter.
