After the 20 cms (8″) of snow that fell on 2nd and 3rd April, conditions were good but where no one had been it was a bit of work to break trail. We went up mainline and Marten to Mill then we broke trail up Mill to the shelter. Back down Mill and then to the lake. By now skiing in the shade was good but snow built up on the skis in the sunny areas.  Otter had plenty of snow for a change. We went round the west end of the lake then back along the edge of the lake and down Rainbow. The snow temperature was more uniform so it was good skiing on the lake and back to the parking area.

No grooming after March 31st as that is the agreement with the government department (lost track of what they call themselves now!). You can still go skiing on the trails and if the current warm weather does not melt it all then maybe there will be more skiing later.
