You all may remember that during December last year there was construction work happening on the road access and in the parking area for the main ski trails. This year from now until about December 20th, Forestry and Parks department personnel will be clearing the areas close to the parking area and burning some wood piles. Cleanup and burning will also be occurring in the compound between Mainline and Martin trails. None of this should impact our activities too much but just be aware that this work is happening and please obey any directions from government staff.
After the really good start to our season, the recent warm weather has made the first hill up Mainlane from the Parking area very icy.
