Dress for the weather and bring work gloves, water, snacks, and a lunch if you plan on staying past the morning. Bring bear spray in case you go out on the trails.
- Tecumseh Parking lot: 3 or 4 people, bring heavy gloves. (Check-in will be at Main Parking lot before heading to Tecumseh)
- Move barbed wire to new posts that have already been installed.
- Remove old posts
- Brush & clean up the new parking area
- Clean & wax skis: 2 people, wax supplied.
- Wax skis
- The waxed skis will be loaded into a trailer to prepare for the ski swap first weekend in Nov.
- Clean up & brush the day area: 4 – 8 people
- Clean up & brush day area, area trails and open area outside the fence.
- Leave the fence open for winter use.
- Walk trails and remove loose rocks, stumps & trail debris to prevent early season damage to rollers and grooming equipment: Unlimited number of people! Some tools are provided, volunteers can bring their own hand tools as well.
- Priorities are:
- Mainline- left side going up the hill. Remove loose rocks and any that stick up more than 3-4 inches.
- Martin from Mainline to the compound
- Lower Haul from Martin to the Tecumseh trailhead
- Camp Loops & Shotgun
- Martin
- As many other trails as we have people
- Priorities are:
- Install snow fencing on Mainline.
