Dress for the weather and bring work gloves, water, snacks, and a lunch if you plan on staying past the morning.  Bring bear spray in case you go out on the trails.

  1. Tecumseh Parking lot: 3 or 4 people, bring heavy gloves. (Check-in will be at Main Parking lot before heading to Tecumseh)
    1. Move barbed wire to new posts that have already been installed.
    2. Remove old posts
    3. Brush & clean up the new parking area
  2. Clean & wax skis: 2 people, wax supplied.

    2. The waxed skis will be loaded into a trailer to prepare for the ski swap first weekend in Nov.
  3. Clean up & brush the day area: 4 – 8 people
    1. Clean up & brush day area, area trails and open area outside the fence.
    2. Leave the fence open for winter use.
  4. Walk trails and remove loose rocks, stumps & trail debris to prevent early season damage to rollers and grooming equipment: Unlimited number of people! Some tools are provided, volunteers can bring their own hand tools as well.
    1. Priorities are:
      1. Mainline- left side going up the hill.  Remove loose rocks and any that stick up more than 3-4 inches.
      2. Martin from Mainline to the compound
      3. Lower Haul from Martin to the Tecumseh trailhead
      4. Camp Loops & Shotgun
      5. Martin
      6. As many other trails as we have people
  5. Install snow fencing on Mainline.
