SUMMARY:BIATHLON ECOAIM TRY-OUT AND FUN RACE
DESCRIPTION:The Biathlon Ecoaim Try-out and Fun Race is a free\, public event that will be hosted on December 13th\, 2025\, at Allison-Chinook. \nIt is designed to give participants of all ages and skill levels a fun and inclusive introduction to biathlon\, which combines a sport skiing with rifle shooting. We encourage youth who have already registered with the club’s Learn to Ski Program 2025-2026 to attend this event. \nDate: Saturday\, December 13th from 10:00 am-noon at Allison-Chinook \nPurpose: To provide a fun and inclusive introduction to the sport of biathlon. \nFormat: Range Procedure\, Shooting\, Mini Race (Shooting and Skiing) \nExperience: No prior biathlon experience is necessary \nRegistration: Even though this is a free and public event\, we encourage you to register for better organize this event. \nREGISTER HERE !!! \nWeather Policy: The event will be cancelled if weather forecast is extreme or if snow conditions are unfavorable. Registered participants will  be notified by email if the event is cancelled

DESCRIPTION:This event will be a lot like our popular moonlight skis except no moon. Spry is sponsoring this event and will be supplying high lumen Silva headlights for event participants to demo. One lucky participant will win a headlight to light up their future moonless ski adventures. \nThe event kicks off at the Allison trailhead at 7:00 pm. Join us for warm drinks and a snack in the warming shelter after the ski! Please bring your own cup.

SUMMARY:2026 Flight of the Crows Loppet
DESCRIPTION:The Flight of the Crows Loppet is our annual family-oriented cross country ski race event for all ages with a focus on fun. \nThe Loppet is also the big finale for our youth programs. There are four race distances offered\, two shorter ones geared for kids and two longer routes geared for adults. We will also have an obstacle course for our youngest youth program participants and a biathlon sprint event for our older youth program participants. \nAll races\, except the Bunny Rabbit Obstacle Course\, start and finish at junction 102\, the first junction on Mainline located at the top of the hill. Please aim to check in 15 minutes prior to your event start time. Registration/Check In Opens 9:30 AM at Start Line. \nStart times and distances: \n\n10:00 AM Biathlon Sprint/Biathlon Sprint Relay (For JR2/3 and TA Youth Program Participants)\n10:00 AM Bunny Rabbit Obstacle Course on Rainbow\n11:00 AM – 1.7 km and 2.8 km\n11:45 AM – 8.5 km and 17 km\n\nWe hope you can join us! \n
