The web guy has not been out on the trails much this year. Instead he has been hiking and snowshoeing up some of the local hills. But after the recent snowfall and cooler temperatures we decided to go to the trails this morning (15March). We were the first at the parking area at 9:30. A cool -21C at first but we soon warmed up. The ski conditions were great right from the parking area. We skied Marten to Whitetail then Bu;lmoose to Cutline and so to the upper shelter. Then along Whiskey Jack/Mill before going down the hill to the lake and west along Otter. It has been great that the Otter trail has been packed this season as it has been a much better ski than in previous years. We then headed back skiing on the north edge of the lake and down Rainbow. Even Rainbow is in excellent condition all the way from the lake. Forecast warm weather means these great conditions may not last long.
