There are a few club members, one in particular, who rarely stop thinking about the ski trails and the ski club. They are always planning improvements or working on the equipment to ensure an enjoyable experience for all of us and an even safer environment for the groomers to prepare our trails when the snow falls. As part of this 6 people were out on the trails last Thursday and 9 people yesterday. Some trees were felled to widen parts of Camp, Mill, Cutoff and Hairpin to make it easier for groomers and skiers and to prepare for more trails to be suitable for skate skiing. 4 chainsaw certified volunteers did the chain saw work, some using their own equipment, and then the others helped clear the wood off the trails.
