Your membership helps to build the Cross Country Skiing Community in the Crowsnest Pass and supports the activities of our Club.
Our activities:
- Grooming partnership: The CNSC purchases and maintains all grooming equipment. Our partnership with the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass allows us to groom cross country ski trails and the new snowshoe trails. Volunteers are active in grooming and maintaining the trails in winter and summer.
- Maintenance of the trails: This includes the signage, maintaining bridges and brushcutting.
- Youth programs: Enabling youth groups to participate in Jackrabbit and Bunnyrabbit programs. This includes a very successful ski equipment loan program for participating children.
- Other programs: Promoting social events as ideas and time permit.
- Member Club with Cross Country Alberta and Cross Country Canada
- Advocacy: For non-motorized recreation and the protection of the Allison-Chinook venue
- Fundraising: To do all of the above.
Your benefits:
- Groomed, maintained and navigable trails.
- Social activities
- Helping youth to participate in a fun and worthwhile winter activity
- Personal liability insurance coverage at the venue
- We have Charitable Organization status so we can also give you a tax receipt for donations.
