We had a cool but perfect snowy day for our rescheduled Flight of the Crows Loppet! Thanks to everyone who participated and to all who volunteered to make this happen. Above pictured are participants from the 1.8 and 3.7km loops, there was also a 9km or 18m loop option.

We got a fantastic day for our last Jackrabbits and Bunnies groups yesterday!! The snow and temperature was perfect. There were relays, games and sprinting on our skis and lots of smiles ❤️

Happy to report that most trails are in great condition ❤️

Happy to report that this lovely dump of snow has

Happy to report that this lovely dump of snow has left many of the trails in great condition. The trails were being packed and track set as I skied today! Some of the trails off of lower mainline still have grass and twigs coming through, especially with track set but maybe we will get some more of the white stuff?? Either way there is enough for some great skiing this weekend!

Sadly the conditions have deteriorated very quickly at Allison Chinook Ski Trails and we are waiting to see what the weather does before announcing if we can postpone or need to cancel. Skiing is not recommended at this time, let’s hope for snow to come! 🤞🏼

Join us next Saturday for our annual Flight of the Crow Loppet!! Choose any distance, grab your classic skis and come out and have some good old fashioned fun! Be sure to do your snow dances this week as we sure could use some of the white stuff ❄️❄️

Moonlight ski and Snowshoe this Saturday January 20th @7pm! Should be amazing conditions!!

Well we got a couple inches refresh that has made

Well we got a couple inches refresh that has made the trails pretty decent in most areas, especially wider open trails. Some of the more narrow trails with heavy tree coverage have bare and icy spots so be cautious descending!! There are deep pits in a few areas from people walking on ski trails which can be dangerous so please stick to designated trails no matter the conditions. If we get the snow forecasted hopefully all trails we be great again 🤞🏼

It sounds like the Moonlight Ski last night was Amazing, what a gift the snow was! Many Thanks to the volunteers who got out to groom so we can all enjoy time over Christmas with friends and family on the trails❤️🫶🏻

Construction 🚧
As some may have noticed the road into Allison Chinook may be closed at times for safety reasons as construction occurs. It seems to be just during the week but you may want to plan your ski with this in mind as a possibility.

Keep up the snow dances, and let’s hope the temperatures don’t get too warm 🤞🤞🏼🤞🏾
