The forecast snowfall exceeded expectations – there was 35 kms of heavy snow on our deck in Coleman by yesterday evening and 40 kms of snow fell on the ski trails. The grooming crew have been out and packed the trails. So definitely will be good early season skiing this weekend.

This snow event hopefully will provide us with an excellent base for future snowfalls. I did see one forecast saying +9C on Wednesday but let’s hope that is wrong. Time to get those ski muscles working again!
