The web guy went to the trails this morning expecting conditions to have deteriorated. First we came to the construction and as work was happening we parked and used the trail on the left side of the road to get to the usual parking area. Then skiing up Rainbow run was really good except for the usual bare area just before the lake. 2 Australian hikers were doing the right thing by keeping to the right side of the trail. It was fine and calm and we got a good view along the lake. By the time we returned the groomers had been up the trail and the skiing was even better. There is no snow on the trees unlike in the picture on the last post but the warmer weather has not affected the trails. If Rainbow Run is really good then all the other trails are going to be better!
