At the Nordiq Alberta End of Season Gala function at the Canmore Nordic Centre on 25th March Larry Hennig received the “Volunteer of the Year” award. He was nominated for his total dedication to our trails. He has been the Co-ordinator of all the grooming and maintenance of our trails for 6 years and in that time has been responsible for the improvement in grooming of our trails and he has been active in most aspects of the activity of the club (except posting to the website!). As one of our board members said – he should have received the award for each of the last 6 years! Congratulations Larry.
